Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett received some positive news on Monday finding out he suffered a bone bruise on his knee. It could have been worse as it will only lead to a short absence.

That’s good. He appears to have a chance to start against the Ravens in Week 5.

Still, it didn’t appear that many people were necessarily jumping for joy in the latest development.

Additionally, Pickett has a muscle sprain, but hasn’t officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Some even suggest resting him … forever?

The fact that this injury isn’t worse is surprising with the way he landed and twisted on it against the Houston Texans during a sack on a 9-yard loss by Jonathan Greenard.

He also grabbed his knee quickly and showed obvious pain.

Should Pickett not be able to start, Mitchell Trubisky would get the nod.

The Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada continues to receive criticism due to his calls.

Just recently, he was asked about some of the struggles the offense has faced and the heat following his quarterback following Week 3.

“Everything points to Kenny all the time … Sometimes he breaks the pocket, maybe he shouldn’t, everyone sits there watches and freeze-frames the clip, it’s pretty easy to say what might or not be the right thing to do,” Canada said, via Brian Batko of Post-Gazette Sports Now.
