The Baltimore Ravens had their Super Bowl dreams dashed on Sunday afternoon with a 17-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. And it sounds like Ravens All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton is still trying to digest the loss.

During his postgame interview, Kyle Hamilton opened up about how he was feeling following the disappointing loss to the Chiefs, admitting that he wasn’t really prepared for this outcome, so it was a little bit of a shock.

“It’s tough,” Hamilton said according to a transcript from the team. “You don’t really think of this outcome, and what happened is kind of a shock. But I respect every guy on this team, [and I] respect [the Chiefs]. It’s a great team. [They have] great players, and they did what they needed to do to win.

“But for us, I feel like it was more of us making more mistakes, and I think that’s the bright side; we can come back on this over the offseason. It’s going to hurt for a minute, but we can build on it.”

We’ll have to see how the Ravens can bounce back from this during the offseason and avenge this loss next season.
