The Arizona Cardinals are currently favored to have the worst record in the NFL this season, but that isn’t stopping quarterback Kyler Murray from expressing some bold confidence heading into the 2023 season.

During a recent appearance on the Cardinals Flight Plan episode that premiered on the team’s YouTube channel Thursday night, Kyler Murray addressed some of the doubters he and the team have faced this season, making it clear that he has a much more optimistic view of the team than most people heading into the 2023 NFL season.

“As far as the chip on my shoulder, like what type of energy I’m coming with into the season, I feel free in a sense, you know, especially with the change of upstairs and the organization,” Murray said during the episode according to Pro Football Talk. “I feel like they’ve done a great job since coming in, holding people accountable, [and] the leadership. They are really trying to build something from the ground up.

“The way we’re going, the way I feel like, personally, the sky is the limit.”

It’s clear that Murray has some very high expectations for himself and the team heading into 2023. We’ll have to see how it works out for them.
