During Sunday afternoon’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals star quarterback Kyler Murray completed just three passes to his wide receivers as the majority of the team’s passing game went through running backs James Conner and Emari Demercado and tight end Trey McBride. And it sounds like Murray would like to see that change in the future.

During his postgame press conference, Kyler Murray made it clear that he thinks the team needs to find a way to get the wide receiver more involved in the offense.

“Keep trying to find ways to get those guys the ball,” Murray said according to the Arizona Cardinals team website. “We have to go back, and that’s something I can get better about, and as a whole with the offense, find ways to get those guys the ball. I know it’s frustrating. [Heck], I’m frustrated for them.”

The Cardinals completed just four passes for just 20 total yards to wide receivers throughout the 45-29 loss to the 49ers on Sunday afternoon, so it’s obvious that the team would like to see more production from those players in the future.

We’ll have to see what changes the team decides to make in order to make that happen.
