Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson played his best game of the season this week as he led the team to a blowout win over the Detroit Lions, and he’s being honored by the league this week as a result.
On Wednesday afternoon, Lamar Jackson was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week by the NFL after a dominant game in which he led the Ravens to a 38-6 win over the Lions. In the game, Jackson went 21 for 27 through the air for 357 yards and three touchdowns while also accounting for 36 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
It was an elite performance from an elite player resulting in a well-deserved Player of the Week honor. And the NFL world had a lot to say about it as a result.

During the offseason, there was a time when it looked like star quarterback Lamar Jackson had played his last game with the Baltimore Ravens as the two sides were on other ends of a contract dispute. They eventually came to terms with a new contract that will keep him in Baltimore for the foreseeable future, and based on Sunday afternoon’s performance it’s safe to say they’ll be glad to have him.
