Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens offense will face off against the tough and stingy Cleveland Browns defense this week, but Jackson thinks that he’s adequately prepared for anything the Browns could throw at him because he practices against his own defense in practice.

During a press conference this week, Lamar Jackson emphatically declared that he thinks the Ravens defense has “no weakness” and explained how practicing against that defense helps prepare the Baltimore offense.

“Not trying to toot our own horn, but I believe our defense has no weakness,” Jackson said via a transcript from the team obtained by Pro Football Talk. “Just from the defensive line, the linebackers, the secondary, how they’re flying around and disguising defenses – making it look like one coverage, but it’s something else – and how they time up their blitzes, it helps us out a lot, because when we’re playing other teams, they’re flying around and giving us their best shot. It’s like we’re seeing one of the best defenses every day.”

Jackson’s claim is backed up by the numbers as the Ravens are currently allowing the fewest points of any team in the league. We’ll have to see if that has indeed helped prepare Jackson to take on the Browns.
