The Baltimore Ravens have been impressive as of late, winning six of their last seven games despite the absence of star quarterback Lamar Jackson, who missed last week’s game with a knee injury. They will look to keep things rolling on Saturday in a division matchup against the Cleveland Browns, but they will need to do so without Jackson yet again.
Jackson has officially been ruled out for Saturday’s matchup against Cleveland, according to the Ravens’ injury report released on Thursday via NFL Network insider Mike Garafalo.

This is not overly shocking considering it was reported earlier this week that Jackson could potentially miss the rest of the season due to his knee injury.
One positive for Baltimore is that backup quarterback Tyler Huntley had been cleared to return for the Ravens, passing the NFL’s concussion protocol for the game.
While Huntley has proven to be serviceable as a backup quarterback, there’s a clear dropoff in team success in recent years when the team has had to turn to Huntley.
In the past two seasons when Huntley has started for Baltimore, he has accrued just a 2-3 record. Jackson has a 15-9 record in that same timeframe as the team’s starter.
This is certainly concerning for a team that has hopes of potentially winning the AFC North this season.
The Cincinnati Bengals are currently tied with Baltimore at 9-4 on the year, so it’s crucial that the Ravens come away with a victory on Saturday over Cleveland.
