The Las Vegas Raiders have a tall task this weekend when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, but it sounds like cornerback Jack Jones has a plan that he thinks will help lift the team to victory.

During an interview session this week, Jack Jones said that the team is “not worried” about the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, claiming that the secret was to shut down star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“We’re not worried about them,” Jones said according to Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “It’s Patrick Mahomes we’ve got to stop. You stop the magician, then the act is over.”

The Chiefs have not been particularly dominant through the air this season due to some struggles from the team’s wide receivers. So shutting down the team’s passing attack has certainly not been out of the question for any teams this season. Still, it’s a pretty bold thing to say about one of the top player in the entire league ahead of the game.

Jones was able to make a big play in his last game against the Los Angeles Chargers last week, returning an interception for a touchdown. We’ll have to see how if he can make a similar play against Mahomes this weekend.
