Some concerning new details have emerged about former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch in regard to an incident he was involved in last August.

Lynch was arrested last year in Las Vegas for driving under the influence of alcohol after police found him asleep in his car.

The former star running back was described as “not cooperative” at the time of the arrest, largely due to the amount of alcohol in his system. We now know more about just how much alcohol was consumed by Lynch.

According to KLAS News in Las Vegas, documents have emerged that show Lynch had a blood alcohol level of 0.18, which is more than double the legal limit in the state of Nevada.

This is obviously a concerning development in his case which is still active. Many around the NFL world offered their opinion on the news.

Marshawn Lynch faces charges of DUI liquor and/or drugs, driving an unregistered vehicle, and failure to drive in a travel lane for this incident. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. A hearing for this case is set to take place on Thursday.

Lynch most recently played for the Seattle Seahawks in the 2019-20 NFL season. He has since appeared numerous times for Amazon’s NFL coverage of Thursday Night Football.
