During this week’s loss to the Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams star tight end Tyler Higbee suffered a serious knee injury after a low hit from Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph. And in a recently released video, it’s pretty clear that Matthew Stafford has a problem with the way Joseph plays the game.
Following the hit on Tyler Higbee, Matthew Stafford ran up to Kerby Joseph, making it clear that he views Joseph as a dirty player, even though he did not appear to take exception with that hit in particular, calling it “a good hit.”
“Hey! Hey! Hey, That’s a good hit, but you’re dirty as [expletive] though and you know it. You’re dirty as [expletive]. It’s been on tape. I’ve seen it. It’s been on tape,” Stafford said in a recent video that has since gone viral on social media.

Obviously, these comments led to a lot of comments on social media as fans offered their reactions to the interaction between Stafford and Joseph.
Calling out one of the dirtiest players in the NFL, love to see it https://t.co/2oHWx77PYR

Should’ve focused more on Lions red zone defense tape over Kerby Joseph legal hits tape.
But that’s just me. https://t.co/0pDEFCWafz

He said it perfectly. It’s legal, but it’s dirty and he’s done it before. https://t.co/5lOeRqGOqY

It’s not clear why exactly Stafford thinks Joseph is such a dirty player or what “tape” he is referring to, but he quite clearly is not a fan of the way that Joseph plays the game.
