Dallas Cowboys’ linebacker Micah Parsons currently has an endorsement deal with C4 Energy, a company that makes both energy drinks and pre-workout powders. But he may not be for much longer. During the Cowboys’ 33-10 win over the Carolina Panthers Sunday, Parsons was seen vomiting on the sidelines at least twice during the game. And after the game, he said he wasn’t sick, but he rather had a negative reaction to some C4 powder he took before the game. (Language warning.)
Micah Parsons was not sick. He took some C4 energy powder before the game. “I got some water to help put it down. By the fifth play it felt like my heart was gonna jump outta my chest. I felt like I was about to explode. I’m never doing that shit again.”

Micah Parsons took part in a pregame pre-workout scoop with his teammates that led to him vomiting twice in the first half.

That is quite the discussion, especially of a sponsor’s product. And it led to a lot of reactions. Here are some of those:
If he tried this then there are way less talented players dry-scooping original formula Jack3d before games

Despite all that, though, Parsons posted two and a half sacks, and was very strong by advanced metrics such as pass rush win rate as well:

Cowboys hybrid DE Micah Parsons officially totaled 2 1/2 sacks in Sunday’s win over Panthers, pushing his 2023 sack total to 10. He is the first player in Cowboys history to record double-digit sacks in his first three seasons and the ninth NFL player to do so since 1982. Last…

“People felt like I was slowing down and just had to put that noise to the side.” – #cowboys Micah Parsons who had 2.5 sacks today after an empty box score last week. Parsons also believes DaRon Bland should be in the DOPY conversation. Our interview on @nflnetwork. pic.twitter.com/byQqDZhJPO

Micah Parsons had a 40% pass rush win rate today. Raised his season-long PRWR to 34.6%.
The "record" (since 2017) over the course of a full season is 33.7% by Joey Bosa in 2017.

So it certainly wasn’t a rough day for Parsons overall. But he may approach pregame drinks a little differently next time around.
