Fletcher Cox is one of the most respected defensive players in the game today. Cox may be toward the end of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles.

As much as Cox is respected around the league for his play, it wasn’t his play that garnered attention on Sunday, it was his wardrobe.

Cox showed up to the Super Bowl in a silver suit (which in the light looked more like lavender), a silver chain, and a pair of sneakers. The reaction of fans around the league was hilarious.

Cox didn’t do himself any favors by wearing what many others thought was an interesting outfit before the biggest game of the year.

Most people compared it to what someone would wear on a Sunday morning for church or even an outfit that a woman would wear.

But the comments about Cox’s outfit were funnier than the outfit itself.

NFL fans had a ball giving Cox a hard time about his “church outfit” which was more suited for Easter Sunday than Super Bowl Sunday. But some fans were a little least tough on the All-Pro than others.

There just weren’t many fans who saw the big picture of what Fletcher Cox was wearing. But you got to give him credit for making an interesting choice. It was bold, that’s for sure.
