After a brutal stretch to end the season where the team lost six of its final seven games, culminating in a blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, it’s clear that the Philadelphia Eagles will have some things to fix this offseason. But head coach Nick Sirianni seems to have confidence that they can do it.

During his postgame press conference, Nick Sirianni was asked why he has confidence that the team can fix its issue during the offseason.

“We believe in ourselves,” Sirianni said according to Pro Football Talk. “I’m not sitting in this room for any reason, and it’s the same thing with these guys. I’m really not built that way, what gives me the confidence to think that we can fix it is because we believe in ourselves and we’re in these seats at the top of our profession because we worked our [butt] off to get here.”

Confidence aside, it’s pretty clear that the Eagles are going to have to make some very real and tangible changes if they’re going to improve during the offseason after the brutal end to the season. We’ll have to see what those changes include.
