The Green Bay Packers shocked everyone in their season opener with a dominant offensive performance over the Chicago Bears. However, they may have a tough time replicating that in Week 2, as a number of standout players on offense are dealing with significant injuries.

Star running back Aaron Jones was easily the biggest difference maker on offense for the Packers in Week 1, leading the team in both rushing and receiving yards.

Jones left toward the end of the game with a hamstring injury, and it seems to be an injury that he is still dealing with.

In their weekly injury report, the Packers revealed that Jones missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday.

They have also been without second-year wide receiver Christian Watson for both Wednesday and Thursday at practice. Watson also did not take part in the Packers’ season opener with a hamstring injury.

Missing both of these players on offense could obviously be disastrous for third-year quarterback Jordan Love, who will be starting only his third NFL game on Sunday.

This could especially be the case against a Falcons defense that has already shown that it can force a young quarterback into mistakes. The Falcons’ defense was able to force rookie quarterback Bryce Young into three turnovers in their Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers.
