Patrick Mahomes Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes already had strong enough career accolades to likely get him into the Hall of Fame even before Sunday night’s Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. But the win added another point to his already insane legacy.

As NFL analyst Ari Meirov pointed out on social media following the Chiefs’ 25-22 Super Bowl LVIII victory, Patrick Mahomes now has some absolutely insane career numbers just six seasons into his NFL career as a starter.

“What Patrick Mahomes has done since becoming an NFL starter 6 years ago:

– 3 Super Bowls
– 3 Super Bowl MVPs
– 2x NFL MVP
– 3x All-Pro
– 6 Pro Bowls
– 2× passing TDs leader
– NFL-record 5,614 total yards in a season.

You are witnessing greatness,” Meirov wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, it’s pretty insane news that Mahomes has accomplished so much after just six seasons as a starter in the NFL, and the news led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Through just six years, Mahomes has already accomplished more than nearly every quarterback in NFL history besides Tom Brady. And he’s certainly on pace to challenge Brady’s numbers, too.
