Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is seen by most as the best quarterback in the NFL. A ton of pressure and adversity comes with that, which fans will get to see in a new Netflix documentary that Mahomes is involved in.
Mahomes took to social media to share a trailer for the new Netflix documentary called “Quarterback”, which also includes the likes of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and Philadelphia Eagles backup Marcus Mariota.
“Everybody sees the game days. They don’t see the day-to-day grind,” Mahomes captioned the Twitter post which is a quote that he is shown saying in the trailer.

It seems like the documentary shows the family life of these quarterbacks outside the football field, along with some of the injuries that they have to battle with throughout the year.
Many fans took notice of the trailer and are extremely eager to watch the new documentary which is set to premiere in July.

Football taught me so much about overcoming tough obstacles and grinding every day to achieve a goal bigger than yourself.
Most folks only see what happens on Sundays but I'm glad to see @PatrickMahomes letting folks in and making Texas proud on and off the field! https://t.co/ljy3fml4cn

This is going to be great. An opportunity for fans to see an in depth look at life as a QB or a QB wife. Very excited to watch. https://t.co/sLQNkpYwru

While most are excited about the documentary, others were wishing that there were some more star-studded players paired with Mahomes instead of Kirk Cousins or Marcus Mariota.
Casting Mahomes alongside Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota in a football doc is like making an 80s action movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger (elite), Dolph Lundgren (mid but entertaining) and Rob Schneider (the plucky comic relief).

Did the other 29 QBs in the league say no, how did they end up with mariota and cousins to go alongside the future goat https://t.co/kUIGSKYu3N

Regardless, it should be cool for fans to be able to see how Mahomes is off the field, especially since Mahomes is typically pretty private when it comes to his private life.
We have seen similar documentaries like Formula 1’s “Drive to Success” and the PGA Tour’s “Full Swing” generate a ton of interest, so it should be interesting to see how this quarterback-driven series ends up doing.
