The game, whatever your chosen game, is difficult to walk away from for many professional athletes. We’ve seen countless athletes retire and then return to the leagues they love and the games they play.

On Tuesday, one more player is added to that list, as wide receiver Percy Harvin is set to un-retire and sign with the Buffalo Bills.

Harvin, just 28 years old, retired in August after hip problems limited him to just five games last season. However, it appears he is healthy and ready for another go with the Bills.

After spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings, Harvin was traded to the Seattle Seahawks for a first-, a third- and a seventh-round pick in what seemed like a blockbuster deal for the West Coast team.

Instead, Harvin never really lived up to his potential, and Minnesota turned that three-pick haul in to Teddy Bridgewater, who was looking like a franchise quarterback until a freak knee injury this preseason has many questioning if he will ever play again. The Vikings also got running back Jerrick McKinnon with that third round pick.

As for Harvin? He went on to win a Super Bowl title but didn’t really become the superstar most believed he could with the Seahawks. He put up just 23 receptions for 150 yards in his two seasons in Seattle.

For his career, Harvin has racked up 351 receptions for 4,020 yards and 53 touchdowns and is likely best remembered for taking back the second half kickoff in the Seahawks 43-8  win over the Denver Broncos in February 2014.

This move is one that should help a Bills team in desperate need of help at wide receiver. Buffalo is 31st in the NFL in passing and receiving offense according to ESPN.
