Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has become legendary for his remarkable consistency as he has never allowed the team to have a losing record in any of his 17 seasons with the team and has led the team to the NFL Playoffs 11 different times during that span, including three of the past four years. But unfortunately for the team, the Steelers haven’t actually won a playoff game since 2016.

While the Steelers have taken four trips to the postseason since 2016, they are 0-4 in all of those games, losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

And as the NFL on CBS pointed out on social media this week, there are a whole lot of teams who have won a playoff game more recently than the Steelers.

NFL on CBS shared a graphic that included all of the teams who have won a playoff game more recently than the Steelers: The Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers.

That’s a pretty exhaustive list.

Obviously, it’s pretty horrible news for the Steelers that the vast majority of the NFL is finding success in the postseason while they are not, and that led to a lot of reactions on social media.

It’s great that the team has been making it to the playoffs, but they’re going to need to win games in the playoffs at some point.
