Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson left Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos after suffering a knee injury.
He is questionable to return, but the Ravens are obviously not about to take any chances with their star’s health.
Jackson suffered the injury late in the first quarter on a sack by Broncos defensive lineman DeShawn Williams. He finished that three-and-out series, but was replaced for the next series by backup Tyler Huntley and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Jackson had not done much to that point, throwing four passes for 11 yards and rushing for nine yards.
NFL fans on Twitter pointed out the obvious: Jackson is gambling this season he won’t be hurt, as he plays the final year of his rookie contract. He turned down a six-year, $133 million offer from the Ravens in the offseason in hopes of a better deal later, whether in Baltimore or elsewhere.
“He should have never have played without that new contract!” tweeted one fan.
Another fan tweeted, “Lamar Jackson should’ve took whatever money they offered him when he had the chance. Way he’s played this year and now this injury, man ain’t smelling nothing close to that $250 million he was asking for.”
