The Baltimore Ravens dominated on Sunday, defeating the Seattle Seahawks 37-3 in an overall great performance from both sides of the ball. However, not everyone was happy with how the game went, as fantasy owners of Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson certainly weren’t too thrilled with his stats in Week 9.

Jackson simply wasn’t needed to do all that much for the Ravens on Sunday, throwing for just 187 yards while rushing six times for 60 yards. It was good for just 11.48 fantasy points, the 16th most amongst all quarterbacks for Week 9.

This isn’t exactly what most fantasy players expect from Jackson. And according to Jackson, this led to him receiving some hate comments from fans.

“Fantasy owners wanna fade me rn,” Jackson wrote in an Instagram story on Sunday after the game. “Bra sorry y’all boys.”

It’s certainly not the first or the last time that a player will receive negative comments due to their fantasy score in a certain week. But it is a bit ridiculous considering the Ravens won so dominantly in Sunday’s game.

If you watched any of the game, you would see that Jackson played great, and the game simply just didn’t call for him to do all that much scoring.

The Ravens running back trio of Keaton Mitchell, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill combined for 230 yards and three touchdowns on the ground in the game.

Jackson will surely be far better for fantasy owners in future games, and his next chance to turn things around for them will come in Week 10 when the Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns.
