When Baltimore Ravens superstar tight end Mark Andrews suffered a leg injury against the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this season, many thought the injury would ultimately mark the end of his season. But in a positive turn of events, it sounds like he’ll be available to play this weekend.

According to a report from NFL insider Albert Breer, the Baltimore Ravens are activating Mark Andrews ahead of this week’s AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

“The Ravens have activated all-world TE Mark Andrews for Sunday’s AFC title game against the Chiefs. Big addition, obviously, for the Baltimore offense,” Breer wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, this is an absolutely massive bit of news for the Baltimore Ravens. Before his injury, Andrews was the top receiving target for quarterback Lamar Jackson, particularly on key downs and in the red zone. Having Andrews back would be a big boost to the team as they try to make the Super Bowl.

We’ll have to see how much Andrews is able to play on Sunday and what sort impact he has on the offense when he is on the field for the team.
