Rumors that Sean Payton and Tom Brady will join forces in 2023 are everywhere, and seemingly growing stronger by the minute.

ESPN NFL analyst Rex Ryan thinks it’s a real possibility.

During the halftime show in Saturday night’s Week 18 game between the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars, Ryan envisioned that star-studded pairing coming together in 2023.

“I could see [Payton] going back to New Orleans, and maybe bringing a quarterback named Tom Brady with him,” Ryan said.

In the same report, Ryan shot down speculation that Payton might end up with the Denver Broncos.

“I don’t see this happening in a million years,” Ryan said, noting the team’s lack of NFL Draft picks, not to mention the fact the Broncos must face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs twice a year.

As noted, these Payton and Brady rumors are everywhere. ProFootballTalk recently reported that the pair teaming up next year is “the worst kept secret in the league.” Saturday morning, Payton even addressed the rumors during an episode of The Season with Peter Schrager.

“So, Tom Brady, is he your quarterback wherever you go?” Schrager asked Payton. “No,” Payton said. “I think that there are a number of things that play into Tom’s decision. I can’t speak for Tom,” Payton revealed, as he also claimed he hasn’t spoken to him.”

It would be fun to imagine what Payton and Brady could do together.
