NFL star free-agent defensive lineman Robert Quinn is in trouble with the law.

A spokesperson for the Summerville (South Carolina) Police Department told ABC News 4 that Quinn turned himself in on Friday to face charges of assault and battery related to a hit-and-run incident earlier in the week.

According to ABC4, arrest affidavits show that Quinn, a South Carolina native, is charged with one count of 3rd-degree assault and battery, four counts of hit and run of an unattended vehicle, one count of hit and run on an attended vehicle, and one count of failure to report striking fixtures on or adjacent to a highway.

Police told ABC that Quinn was driving a truck along Brittondale Road on Tuesday when he “drove off the roadway and struck several vehicles.”

Per the arrest affidavits, a woman was “sitting in her car in her driveway when Quinn drove into her vehicle. When she approached him to ask what he was doing, Quinn allegedly offered to buy her beer and then ‘subsequently grabbed her by the shoulders, stated ‘listen to me and struck her with an open hand across the face.'”

Quinn is alleged to have gotten back into his truck, hit another vehicle, and then left the area on foot.

Quinn, who last played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022, remains in Dorchester County Detention Center where he awaits a pending bond hearing.
