Legendary rapper Future is once again sending a shot across the bow of Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson, who is married to the mother of his children, pop star Ciara.

The new single, “Turn Yo Clic Up,” was released Friday and is part of Quavo’s upcoming album, Rocket Power, which he’s dedicated to his late nephew and groupmate TakeOff.

You can listen to the new track below:

In the track, Future takes a clear shot at the Broncos quarterback:

“Big dawg status, bill hopper/ I ball in his mall for my brothers/ Goyard bag, tote the Corduroy/ I got it out the field, [expletive] Russell,” he raps.

As Hip Hop DX notes, Future got engaged to Ciara in October 2013. The couple welcomed their son, Future Zahir Wilburn, into the world in August 2014. The relationship eventually froze over, with Ciara choosing to later date and marry Wilson, who was then the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks.

In a 2019 interview, Future took another swipe at Wilson, saying he does “exactly what [Ciara] tells him to do.”

“He not being a man in that position,” he said on Freebandz Radio. “He not telling her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband. You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up.”

Wilson and Ciara did not immediately respond to Future’s latest barb.
