The Denver Broncos have struggled mightily this season, winning just one game all year which came against the Chicago Bears – one of the worst teams in the NFL so far this season. But it sounds like star quarterback Russell Wilson is still just taking it one game at a time, and he knows the team faces a golden opportunity on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Russell Wilson had a pretty clear message, saying that he and the team are aiming to create “a new history” and “go win this game” against the defending Super Bowl champions.

“The important thing is that we’ve got to create a new history,” Wilson said according to the Broncos team website. “We have to be able to do that with one play at a time, one moment at a time, one game at a time. . . . Every game has a history of its own, and we’ve got to be focused on this one and go win this game.”

A win against the defending Super Bowl champs would go a long way toward turning this season around for the Broncos as it would not only put another win on the board but it would likely give the team confidence going forward.
