Last season was pretty rough for Denver Broncos star quarterback Russell Wilson. After he was traded to the team as part of a blockbuster deal with the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson had without a doubt the worst season of his career statistically as he led an offense that ranked dead last in scoring in the league. But one Broncos star thinks this year is going to be different for Wilson.
This week, Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy hosted a youth football camp in the Denver area. During the camp, he briefly spoke to reporters where he expressed some bold confidence in Russell Wilson heading into the 2023 NFL season, predicting that his quarterback is going to have “a big year coming ahead.”
“Russ is a soldier ,” Jeudy said according to Ben Swanson of the team’s website. “So just the way he handles his business, the way he handles situations, I just know the type of guy he is and the stuff that he can overcome.
“In the situations like that, that don’t put no fear into a man’s heart. And I know that this year, he got a big year coming ahead.”
It’s a bold quote, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media.
I sure hope so https://t.co/RvtR46Gbgm

It will certainly be interesting to see how Wilson fares this season after a brutal performance last year.
