Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams had two costly fumbles during Sunday afternoon’s win over the Washington Commanders, but it doesn’t sound like those miscues have shaken the confidence that head coach Sean McVay has in the young running back.

During his postgame press conference on Sunday, Sean McVay made it clear that the team still has “a lot of confidence” in their young running back despite his two fumbles in the game.

“I love the way that he finished the game out,” McVay said according to the Los Angeles Rams team website. “It’s always about your response and so he’ll learn from it and he’s the type of guy that has the right football character, the right mindset and mentality to be able to use these things as learning ops push forward in a positive way. And he still made big-time contributions to this game in a positive way.”

Williams finished the game with 27 rushes for 152 yards and a touchdown to help lead the team to victory. It’s obvious that the Rams would have preferred him to cut out the two fumbles, but he was still able to help the team to victory even despite the two miscues.
