Shannon Sharpe Undisputed

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he cleared the air about misleading the media back in November regarding his vaccination status for COVID-19.

Rodgers played the victim card on the podcast, saying that there was an “attempted takedown” towards him and his word after admitting just nine months prior that he misled the media about his vaccination status.

This appearance on the podcast has received a ton of controversy, and perhaps the most critical of those bashing him is Fox Sports personality Shannon Sharpe.

Sharpe discussed Rodgers and his misleading of the media during Thursday’s episode of Undisputed, where he did not mince words about the 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback.

“When it’s all said and done, you can make the case that he might be a top-five player if he can get another championship,” said Sharpe. “That’s undeniable, but as a person, he is a terrible person. He’s a liar, he’s arrogant, he’s aloof. For the lack of a better word, he’s a prick.

“I am so over him,” Sharpe added. “Nobody was even talking about Aaron Rodgers and what he lied about, or what he deliberately misled about. He went on (the Joe Rogan Experience) and rehashed that he wants to thumb his nose and say ‘I did that NFL, and I’ll do it again’.”

While it’s a very harsh analysis of Rodgers from Sharpe, nothing he said is exactly all that wrong regarding his misleading of the public on his COVID-19 vaccination.

The topic was far forgotten by most fans, but Rodgers had to bring the issue to light again on Joe Rogan’s podcast for the attention of it all.

Regardless, Rodgers and the Packers will attempt to block out the noise from Sharpe and others when they take the field in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings.
