Police urged people to leave the area immediately after the shooting.

“Anyone nearby needs to leave the area as quickly and safely as possible to facilitate treatment of the shooting victims,” the KC Police tweeted. “Please avoid the Union Station parking garage area to allow first responders through.”
There was also apparently great concern for children who got separated from their parents in the commotion, leading police to send out “child reunification” information.
“Remember the child reunification stations in the area are at 2301 Main and inside the main entrance of Union Station. We still have several needing reunification. Contact the officer nearest you for reunification information.”
The NFL world quickly reacted to the news.
Losers. Always some huge losers w/horrible lives who show up and ruin the great time of thousands and thousands of people.

Why can’t people just let other people be happy for one day? Why is this our world? Just embarrassing for us as a country and even worse for the people who were looking forward to this. https://t.co/k9qV4QlYh9

today is the 6 year anniversary of the parkland shooting. we say never again, we cry in outrage when shootings happen, and yet history repeats itself because our president and government don’t do anything to actually protect us. gun control is a necessity in this country. https://t.co/v3q9gyRvPw
