Back in the spring of 2022, the Tennessee Titans decided to trade star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles in return for the No. 18 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, which they used to select wide receiver Treylon Burks from Arkansas. In hindsight, that trade is looking pretty horrible for the Titans.
Not only has A.J. Brown far outproduced Treylon Burks since the trade, but he’s actually outproduced the entire Tennessee Titans receiving corps by himself, as NFL analyst Ari Meirov pointed out on social media.
“#Eagles WR AJ Brown has more receiving yards this season (809) than all #Titans WRs have combined (789),” Meirov wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

This is obviously horrible news for the Titans as the Eagles are thriving with a player who clearly could have been a star in Tennessee, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on Twitter as a result.

It’s worth noting that this trade looked bad enough last year as Brown put up 1,496 yards on 88 catches to help lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl. And he’s clearly picking up right where he left off this season.
