After back-to-back losing seasons under head coach Mike Vrabel, sounds like the Tennessee Titans have decided to make a change.
According to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN on Tuesday afternoon, the Tennessee Titans have decided to part ways with Mike Vrabel after six seasons leading the team.
“Titans fired head coach Mike Vrabel, per sources. Vrabel led Tennessee to four consecutive winning seasons after arriving in 2018, but the Titans have experienced back-to-back frustrating seasons, finishing multiple games under .500 both times,” Schefter said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Vrabel took over the Tennessee Titans ahead of the 2018 season and found some pretty immediate success, leading the team to winning records in his first four seasons with the team, including three trips to the playoffs in 2019, 2020 and 2021 as well as division titles in the latter two years. He was even named the NFL Coach of the Year in 2021.
Despite his early success with the team, the Titans have had back-to-back frustrating seasons, finishing 7-10 last year and finishing with a 6-11 record this season, failing to make the postseason in both years. As a result, the team decided to part ways with Vrabel.
