After the Giants’ 27-13 win against the Browns on Sunday, New York cornerback Janoris Jenkins tweeted at Cleveland wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, “you a sh*t eater to me, u really sucks,” but Pryor took the high road and responded with love.

Pryor called Jenkins “a great corner” and wished him luck for the rest of the season.

Although the Giants got the best of Cleveland, Pryor actually had an excellent performance, catching six passes for 131 yards. His biggest gain of 54 yards came against Eli Apple, but Jenkins got burned on a 21-yard touchdown to Corey Coleman.

Another tweeter commented that Jenkins is a top three cornerback in the NFL, and Pryor agreed.

Leading up to the matchup, Jenkins had caused some friction saying Pryor would not be a challenge for the New York secondary because he is just “another receiver.”

Pryor was asked about Jenkins during a postgame interview and told Cleveland.com: “I’ve got a lot of respect. I’m not going to go that way. Did it anger me? Yeah, I was mad because, whatever, I’m not going to go there, but I respect every player in the league, because it’s hard to stay in this league and it’s hard to be great in this league.”

Pryor knows as well as anyone how tough it is to stick in the NFL. Drafted as a quarterback out of Ohio State in 2011, he was cut by the Seahawks in 2014 and the Chiefs and Bengals in 2015. He has reinvented himself as a wide receiver with the Browns over the last two seasons.
