The Pittsburgh Steelers have struggled in absence of All-Pro linebacker T.J. Watt.

The defensive standby was injured during Week 1’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Watt suffered a partially torn pectoral muscle and was originally feared to be out for the season. A second opinion, however, revealed a timetable of six weeks before he could return to the field.

Watt appeared to look like his old self in a video posted Wednesday:

“T.J. Watt is looking like T.J. Watt,” declared DK Pittsburgh Sports.

The NFL world was quick to react in similar fashion to the video:

“Are we sure that they couldn’t have just rested him for a few weeks?” asked Bernard Oliver. “I understand the putting him on IR, but he looks great here. With that said, I wouldn’t want him rushed back and then hearing the criticism of said decision later.”

“Wasn’t expecting to see this already,” another user said.

“Thank you sweet little baby Jesus,” a Steelers fan tweeted.

“He is not human,” wrote Josh Morrone.

“This man has all the heart in the world for this game,” one fan wrote. “He will be back sooner.”

There is no official word on when Watt will return for action despite clearly heading that direction. Watt’s Steelers host the New York Jets on Sunday.
