On Sunday morning, Tennis superstar Novak Djokovic won the French Open title, defeating Casper Ruud in straight sets. The win marked Djokovic’s 23rd Grand Slam singles title, topping Rafael Nadal for a new all-time record as the two were previously tied at 22. It was a historic moment for arguably the greatest tennis player to ever play the sport. And fittingly, another all-time great was on hand to support him: NFL legend Tom Brady.
Not only was Tom Brady in attendance for Sunday’s final, but he was sitting in the box for Novak Djokovic, supporting the Serbian tennis star.
“GOAT know GOAT,” US Open Tennis said in a tweet. “Tom Brady in Novak Djokovic’s box today.”

The move from Brady to support another all-time great in a different sport certainly generated quite a buzz on Twitter as plenty of people offered their reactions to the two GOATs supporting each other.
#Brady took care of his body in a very extreme way. He was so disciplined with his habits. #Novak is just like him. Perhaps more extreme & their careers speak for themselves. Incredible athletes who work very hard mentally & physically. https://t.co/XnNPcMjVq8

Brady recently retired from football at the age of 45 years old after over two decades of dominating the sport. Djokovic, meanwhile, is 36 years old and is still obviously at the top of his sport dominating the competition. And he does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
