Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce might have thought he knew fame before he began dating global pop superstar Taylor Swift, but he learned very quickly that dating Swift brings a whole new level of attention.
During a recent appearance on The Big Podcast with Shaq, Jason Kelce, the brother of Travis Kelce, said that after Travis began dating Taylor Swift he got so much attention that he was forced to move out of his house due to people waiting outside for him.
“He had to completely move out of his house,” Jason Kelce said. “People were just staying by his house.”
Jason Kelce claimed his brother had to leave for “safety reasons” as a result of all the attention he received, but it didn’t take long for his new address to get exposed, too.
“And the first day he moved into the new house – a gated community – somebody knocks on the back window of the house,” Jason Kelce said.
Obviously, this is pretty horrible news for Travis Kelce as he was exposed to such harassment in his personal life, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.
Let me tell you… he has been handling it extremely well https://t.co/3GShZuPVbC

Why does anyone ever think it’s okay to go knock on someone’s door or even someone else’s property without permission?? People have zero self awareness. I feel like so many people out here unsupervised that need basic sense and decency. https://t.co/9PSJfOkbqW

But it sounds like the Kelce brothers understand that it comes with the territory.
“We’ve always been big in the football world – Travis especially,” Jason Kelce said. “The Taylor world, the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s just a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”
