During Sunday night’s Wild Card round matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens, the game totally turned on one play when Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley tried to reach the ball out to score a would-be go-ahead touchdown for Baltimore only to fumble the ball leading to Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard picking it up and scoring a touchdown the other direction. After the play, it’s safe to say Huntley had regrets.

During his postgame press conference, Tyler Huntley addressed the game-changing moment, saying that he “just tried to make a play.”

“At the time, I just felt like everybody was packed in, they shot for our linemen’s legs, the ‘backers felt pretty good up at the line. I just tried to make a play,” Huntley said according to the Baltimore Ravens team website. “I’m going to be thinking about that the whole offseason, how just one play, they won the game. It’s going to be hard, but it’s going to motivate me to grind hard, work hard, and be ready for next year.”

After the game, a special chip implanted in the football revealed that Huntley was just 0.6 yards away from the goal line on the play, very nearly scoring for the Ravens.
