Before the start of the season, Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill revealed quite a bold goal, claiming that he wanted to become the first receiver in the history of the league to surpass 2,000 yards in a single season. As it turns out, he’s well on his way.

During this week’s game against the New England Patriots, Tyreek Hill passed the 1,000-yard mark on the season. By making it to 1,000 yards before even the midpoint in the NFL season, Hill has put himself in a league of his own.

“#Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is already over 1,000 yards on the season, and he is now the first player in the Super Bowl [era] to have 1,000+ yards in his team’s first 8 games,” Meirov said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

It’s an absolutely wild stat that highlights just how dominant Hill has been this season, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

Hill is currently on pace to comfortably eclipse the 2,000-yard mark, provided he stays healthy and maintains this level of production. It will certainly be interesting to see if he’s able to do it.
