Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill once had a close relationship with former Kansas City Chiefs teammates Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, but after Hill left the team before last season, it sounds like those relationships are quite a bit different.
During a press conference this week, Tyreek Hill opened up about his relationship with both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce as his Miami Dolphins prepare to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs, admitting that he doesn’t really talk to either player much at all – and Kelce seems to have ignored him completely.
“I haven’t texted Mahomes since they beat our [expletive],” Hill told reporters in an interview this week, referring to the Chiefs’ 21-14 win over the Dolphins in Germany earlier in the season.
Hill said that he has tried to reach out Kelce recently, but he has not received a reply to his text, which Hill suggests is because of his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
“I texted Kelce. He still hasn’t texted me back,” Hill said of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “He’s probably still on his Taylor Swift thing.”
Hill had a pretty bold message for his teammates for why this relationship might have deteriorated, calling them out for simply getting too famous.
“Those guys are too famous for me now, I guess,” Hill said.
Obviously, these words led to quite a few reactions on social media.
