With Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffering an ankle injury in the team’s loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon, it put the team in a bit of a difficult situation as they now have to decide whether or not to allow Hill to play with an injured ankle. But it sounds like the team is going to take a bit of a cautious approach with their star receiver.
During a press conference this week, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel made it clear that the team intends to make sure that Tyreek Hill is not at risk of further injury before allowing him to return to the field.
“He’s such an important part of our team that we’re going to make sure that when he’s on the field, he’s not at risk of further injury to himself,” McDaniel said according to Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald.
Hill is obviously a massive part of the team’s offensive dominant this season, but he’s also in the middle of what could be a historic season as he looks to become the first receiver in NFL history to have more than 2,000 receiving yards in a single season.
We’ll have to see whether or not this ankle injury keeps him off the field and keeps him from reaching that goal.
