Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill used to be teammates with Kansas City Chiefs superstars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, but now it seems that he can’t even reach them by phone.
During a press conference this week, Tyreek Hill got pretty brutally honest about his relationship with his former teammates these days, admitting that he hasn’t really talked to either Patrick Mahomes or Travis Kelce recently as the Miami Dolphins prepare to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs.
“I haven’t texted Mahomes since they beat our [expletive],” Hill told reporters this week, referring to the Chiefs’ 21-14 win over the Dolphins in Germany earlier in the season.
Hill said that he has reached out to Kelce since then via text message, but he has not heard back from his former teammate, which Hill speculates is because of his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
“I texted Kelce. He still hasn’t texted me back,” Hill said of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “He’s probably still on his Taylor Swift thing.”
Hill had a pretty brutal message for his former teammates after their relationship seemingly had grown apart.
“Those guys are too famous for me now, I guess,” Hill said.
We’ll have to see whether they seem to still have a warm relationship when they meet on the field this weekend.
