Urban Meyer strongly condemned anyone on his coaching staff leaking information to the media about the Jacksonville Jaguars during his post-game press conference on Sunday. So he’s really not going to like hearing that someone in the organization leaked some more info about him and the situation simmering behind the scenes.

According to former NFL general manager Michael Lombardi, “someone in the building” told him that the reports that leaked about Meyer’s behavior over the weekend are “the tip of the iceberg.”

“Told by someone in the building, that Tom Pelissero report is the tip of the iceberg,” wrote Lombardi. “It’s much worse than you can imagine. Most of the anger is directed towards the offense as Meyer leaves the defense alone. How can Khan keep him-Once you know it won’t work, more time won’t help.”

Considering what was in the Pelissero report, that’s not a good sign. The NFL Network reporter said that Meyer has been involved in multiple heated incidents with Jaguars employees, one with a player and one with his assistant coaches. In one instance he got in an argument with receiver Marvin Jones and in the other he chastised his assistant coaches, calling them losers and asking them to run down their resumes to prove why they deserve to be there.

On Sunday, Fox’s Jaz Glazer reported that he spoke with Meyer and that the head coach denied the incident involving Jones but did confirm that “I am hard on my coaches. I get on them.” He did not confirm or deny whether or not he called them “losers.”

It really does feel like we’re at a tipping point with Meyer in Jacksonville. The team is 2-10. Trevor Lawrence seems to be regressing. Star running back James Robinson is unhappy. The fans are jumping ship. And every few days there’s a new leak about issues involving Meyer and his co-workers. All the while, Meyer looks absolutely miserable.

One way or another, it’s hard to believe this experiment lasts too much longer.
