The Cleveland Browns have a new starting quarterback in Robert Griffin III, who is hoping to find the magic that he had in his rookie season in Washington.

RG3 looked like that quarterback in the first quarter of the Browns’ preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night, when he found former Ohio State Buckeye quarterback Terrelle Pryor downfield for a 50-yard touchdown pass. It was really a thing of beauty on both ends.

Griffin floated it right into the breadbasket of Pryor:

Pryor has been trying to find his way into the NFL as a receiver now for a minute. He has had stints with the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals, but was a practice squad member for all three rounds. He joined the Browns last season, and has been able to stay on as a receiver.

If he and Griffin are able to keep a chemistry where they’re completing big plays like this, he’ll be around even longer.
