The word “soft” has been mentioned around the Eagles after a play surrounding the team’s famous “Tush Push” had Jason Kelce allegedly pushed Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillies into the ground.

A familiar name who once sported an Eagles uniform, Michael Vick, doesn’t believe the team is being soft or “dirty,” but would he be able to be the team’s quarterback once again?

Robert Griffin III asked on RG3 and The Ones presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment, hypothetically if something were to happen to current starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, would Vick suit up for five games and compete?

“Whew, man — I mean, right now, it’s hard to say,” Vick said. “I don’t think I could do it. Nah, I couldn’t do it, man. The arm is — you’re going to always be able to throw a football — I just feel like it’s gonna be a moment where I’m going to want to kick in that gear, and I’m not going to be in shape so as opposed to giving them five games, I’mma give them two. Cuz I know that hamstring’s gonna pop.”

Vick added that now that he’s a member of the media the scrutiny he would hear, and say himself, would happen if he didn’t go out and dominate. But he admitted injuries, like most athletes who retire, forced his career to an early stop.

“That was MO, man — if I could have stayed healthier — I missed a lot of games, I probably would have had a lot of opportunities to win more games probably, and competing in championships for sure,” Vick said.

Vick had a history of injuries and especially with hamstrings.

Vick did say he believes RG3 could return to the gridiron, however.

While we don’t believe Vick will be back in the NFL as a player, he’s still being celebrated as the star on Madden 24 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game.
