Josh Allen and Josh Allen USA Today

Josh Allen has a fear: Josh Allen.

With the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills meeting Sunday in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the two will face one another in perhaps another battle of the names.

Bills’ Allen says when he faces Jaguars’ Allen, there’s a fear.

“He scares me. He got me last time we played,” quarterback Allen said (via Pro Football Talk). “He’s coming off a really good week, too. He’s a baller. He’s still considered kind of a young guy in this league, but he’s playing really good football right now. Their defensive group right now is playing at a high level. They work together very well. So we’re going to have our hands full.”

Quarterback Allen is coming off an AFC Offensive Player of the Week game when he tallied five total touchdowns, four passing, completing 21 of 25 attempts for 320 yards and a 158.3 passer rating in the Week 4 win over the Miami Dolphins.

The outside linebacker Allen said his approach to this game will be to keep it simple. So far, that strategy has been working swimmingly for him.

In Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons, he had three sacks. Head coach Doug Pederson said Allen was in a great headspace before the game.

Allen made sure to compliment his teammates in his run.

“It was definitely progression,” Allen said (via NFL.com). “It was a heck of a way to fight, heck of a way for guys to make plays when their number was called, and for my performance, I couldn’t do a lot of it without the guys in front of me.”

His teammates notice it, too. Whatever he’s been doing, if he brings that to the Week 5 matchup overseas, the other Josh Allen could be in trouble.
