Donald Trump made a surprise appearance at the Philadelphia shoe convention “Sneaker Con” to sell his new shoe “Never Surrender High Tops,” which are being sold for $399.

According to AP, the shoes are shiny gold high tops with American flag detail on the back. They are being sold as “Never Surrender High-Tops” for $399 on a new website that also sells other Trump-branded shoes as well as the “Victory47” cologne and perfume for $99 a bottle. If Trump is elected again, he will become the 47th president of the United States.

Trump’s appearance at the convention was met with some loud boos which didn’t seem to bother the former president.

“There’s a lot of emotion in this room,” Trump said of the reaction, after holding up and showing off a pair of gold shoes, then placing one on each side of his podium.

Trump had a few supporters there chanting “USA!” trying to drown out the boos. Some even held signs saying “Sneakheads Love Trump.”

Many may be asking why is Trump at a sneaker convention selling $400 shoes? Well because on Friday he was ordered to pay nearly $400 million in penalties by a judge for fraud.

The judge in the case also ruled that he nor his company could do business in New York for the next three years which is a huge blow to Trump.

Trump also owes author E. Jean Carroll $83 million in a defamation suit he lost against her recently as well.

After this recent judgment against him, Trump went on a rant about how the justice system has been unfair to him.

In a news conference after the ruling came out, Trump blamed Democrats, Joe Biden, the judge in the case, and the Department of Justice for this ruling against him, although this was a case brought on by the state of New York and not the federal government.

The judge in the case explained his ruling saying that Trump nor his family members Eric and Don Jr. who who also have to pay  a fine,  showed no remorse for what they had done.

“Their complete lack of contrition and remorse borders on pathological. They are accused only of inflating asset values to make more money. The documents prove this over and over again. This is a venial sin, not a mortal sin. The defendants did not commit murder or arson. They did not rob a bank at gunpoint. Donald Trump is not Bernard Madoff. Yet, defendants are incapable of admitting the error of their ways,” Judge Engoron wrote.

“Defendants’ refusal to admit error — indeed, to continue it, according to the Independent Monitor — constrains this Court to conclude that they will engage in it going forward unless judicially restrained,” he added.

Trump’s lack of remorse was clearly shown in the speeches he had given the past 48 hours since the ruling came out. No apologies were given and some even think that the ruling was a bit harsh against Trump, nonetheless, he and his family still have to pay over a half billion dollars out. Trump has already said he will appeal this ruling, but first, he has to get the money to file an appeal.
