The world is buzzing over Donald Trump and his latest golf expedition. The former U.S. President arrived in Scotland on Monday to visit his mother’s ancestral home and play golf and break ground on a new golf course in the country.

Trump appeared in Aberdeen near Trump International Golf Links, Scotland, in Balmedeie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It’s his first trip to the United Kingdom since back in 2019. The former President claimed it was “great to be home,” as Sky News tweeted.

Trump also helped to break ground on a new golf course in Aberdeen, located near the resort. His son Eric Trump joined him for the photo op.

He is in Scotland amid multiple federal felony charges of fraud and an ongoing civil sexual assault case. E. Jean Carroll is accusing the former President of rape.

Despite that, Trump seems not interested in appearing in court. Instead, he plans to stay in Scotland before heading to the Republic of Ireland, where the former President intends to golf again.

Trump is the first President ever to face federal charges. The State of New York arraigned Trump on 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records. The state charged him with the first degree on those 34 counts. The charges stem from hush-money payments to former adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

The world reacted to the Donald Trump news.
