Ciara has elected to sue her ex-boyfriend Future for $15 million over alleged slander and libel, according to TMZ.

Ciara’s issue with Future stems from a radio interview in which he discussed a photo of Russell Wilson pushing Future and Ciara’s son (also named Future) in his stroller. Of the incident, Future said to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, “She probably set him [Russell] up. You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts.”

In the lawsuit, Ciara cites other interviews, and didn’t particularly appreciate his Twitter rant in January, specifying one tweet in particular.

TMZ also reports that in the suit, Ciara claims to go out of her way to make sure that Future sees their son, and adds that they’ve had at least 19 visitations since December of 2014.

Ciara hopes to get the tweets deleted, and prevent Future from discussing their private matters in public again.

There was a span when it seemed Future was having problems in regards to his son at times more than others. Some people did not think it was a coincidence that the rapper released a mixtape, Purple Reign, they day that Wilson and the Seahawks were set to take on the Panthers in the NFC Divisional Round.

As the Panthers continued to lay it on the Seahawks early in the game and throughout the first half, memes and an abundance of purple umbrella emoji’s were all over Twitter, in reference to Future trolling Wilson, his ex-girlfriend’s current partner.

Perhaps this lawsuit will be the thing that brings some of that to rest.
