Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is the latest prominent person to get between two ferns.
Zach Galifianakis’ and Scott Aukerman’s Emmy Award-winning series Between Two Ferns has hosted a variety of eclectic guests, including POTUS Barack Obama, Justin Bieber, Charlize Theron, and Will Ferrel. The show almost always take a cringeworthy turn, as its anti-humor awkwardness is revved up to one thousand. The latest guest is no exception.
Clinton appeared on the fake talk show and love her or hate her, it’s damn funny.
Clinton is totally game for Galifinakis’ unusual stunts and line of questioning. Here’s a rundown of the best questions and responses.
“How did Obama like his coffee, like himself, weak.”
“What happens if you get pregnant, are we going to be stuck with Tim Kaine for nine months?” to which Clinton responds, “I can send you some pamphlets and help you understand.”
“I really regret doing this,” to which Galifianakis asks the hard-hitting question, “any regrets losing the Scott Baio vote?” “Not a one,” according to Hillary.
Perhaps the best shot from Galifinakis is asking Clinton “what’s the best way to reach you? Email?” in reference to Clinton’s well-publicized email scandal.
There’s plenty of light-hearted shots at Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump – including a sponsored advertisement by Trump himself. Clinton takes things well and her deadpan responses to most of Galifianakis’ questions fit the show perfectly.
It’s a smooth play by Clinton to appeal to younger voters. At the very least, she showed she’s not in fact a robot, and can make jokes at her own expense.
