The Rio Olympics are finally upon us and here in the United States that means it’s time to cheer on our American athletes. It also means keeping up with the wealth of coverage and events that happen each day.

No one appears to be more passionate about the Olympics than Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones, who provided some very engaging Twitter commentary on the first day of events that morning.

Jones started off her Olympic coverage with a bang as she cheered on Team USA’s Ginny Thrasher, who went on to claim the country’s first gold medal.

Jones didn’t stop there as she also covered the swimming preliminaries held in the morning. She brought plenty of energy as she cheered for Team USA to put forth a strong showing.

Jones then transitioned her coverage over to men’s cycling where she marveled over the pace that the Olympic cyclists kept over such a long distance while also avoiding obstacles in their path.

Multiple events going on at once? Not a problem for Leslie, who knows how to multitask.

If there is anyone deserving of a gold medal for Olympic spirit and enthusiasm, it is most certainly Leslie Jones. When it comes to pure passion and Twitter commentary, she is truly unmatched.
