As All Elite Wrestling makes its annual Labor Day Weekend stop in Chicago for the All Out pay-per-view, a special guest will be on hand for Saturday night’s taping of Collision at the United Center.
Five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman will be returning to his old stomping grounds, the promotion announced Friday.
What will happen when the unpredictable @NBA Hall Of Famer #theWorm @dennisrodman returns to the @UnitedCenter, TOMORROW when Saturday Night #AEWCollision is LIVE from Chicago?!?

Rodman, who won three of his five titles with the Chicago Bulls from 1996-98 is no stranger to professional wrestling. A lifelong fan, Rodman appeared in the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling multiple times while still in the NBA. He made his debut in July 1997, just one month after the Bulls beat the Utah Jazz for their second-straight NBA Championship. Rodman teamed with “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan against Lex Luger and The Giant in a losing effort.
Most famously, Rodman teamed with Hogan again at the next year’s Bash at the Beach, just weeks after the Bulls beat the Jazz for a second straight year. This time, he and Hogan faced Diamond Dallas Page and Rodman’s on-court rival Karl Malone and picked up the win. He returned to WCW one last time in August 1999, losing to “The Macho Man” Randy Savage at WCW’s Road Wild 1999 pay-per-view.
It is unlikely that Rodman will wrestle a match for AEW, but will undoubtedly receive a hero’s welcome in his return to the United Center.
